For the talented musician Mylan Bangoura a.k.a.
Yaro Nova, we had
the challenging and fun task to make a typography and album cover design for
his comprehensive live performance and following music album:

The typography is inspired by the mysterious and wildly coloured butterfly, but also his predecessors; the cacoon and caterpillar. Their transformation, what was a metaphor for Yaro Nova’s personal metamorphosis, alongside their organic figures, fiber but also dim colours and rorschach patterns became an overall fundament for our vision.
